Service Agreement

1. Introduction

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") governs your access to and use of the services provided by Sports Bar AI ("we," "our," "us").

Our services include our websites, mobile applications (iOS and Android), AI-powered assistants, booking platform, and all related features (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to comply with this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

2. About Our Services

Sports Bar AI connects sports fans with bars, pubs, restaurants, and venues that broadcast live sports events. Our platform provides:

  • Event discovery — Browse, search, and receive recommendations for live sports events at participating venues.
  • AI-powered assistants — Conversational AI tools that help you find events, check live scores, get venue information, and make bookings.
  • Table and event bookings — Reserve tables or admission at participating venues for live sports events.
  • Live scores and notifications — Real-time score updates, event reminders, and push notifications.
  • User-generated content — Post reviews, ratings, and photos of your experiences at venues.
  • Mobile applications — iOS and Android apps with full platform functionality.

We act as a booking intermediary between you and participating venues. We do not own, manage, or operate any venues listed on our platform. Our role is to promote events, process reservations, facilitate AI-driven sports experiences, and transmit booking details to venues.

3. Eligibility

  • Our Services are available to individuals of all ages for browsing, event discovery, scores, and informational purposes.
  • To create an account or make a booking, you must be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to enter contracts).
  • Some venues have age restrictions (typically 18+) that apply to entry, regardless of your booking. Age requirements will be indicated in the event details where applicable.
  • By using our Services, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirements.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You may create an account using:

  • Email and password
  • Sign in with Google
  • Sign in with Apple
  • Sign in with Facebook (Meta)

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4.2 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

4.3 Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at legal@startivent.com.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate this Agreement, engage in fraudulent activity, or repeatedly fail to attend bookings without notice.

5. Bookings and Payments

All bookings are subject to our Bookings Policy. Key points:

  • Booking service fees are paid to STARTIVENT, LLC and are processed securely through Stripe, Inc.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
  • Service fees are non-refundable, except as stated in the Bookings Policy.
  • The service fee does not go to the venue and does not count toward food, drinks, or venue purchases.

6. AI-Powered Services

6.1 Nature of AI Services

Our AI-powered features — including search, recommendations, conversational assistants, and score updates — are designed to assist and inform you. However:

  • AI outputs are generated automatically and may occasionally contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors.
  • AI recommendations are suggestions only and do not constitute professional advice.
  • Event schedules, scores, and venue information provided by AI may differ from the actual event details due to last-minute changes.

6.2 AI Data Usage

When you interact with our AI features, your queries and interactions may be temporarily stored to provide you with the requested service. Your personal data is not used to train our AI models. AI features use your data solely to fulfill your request (e.g., finding venues, making recommendations) and do not retain it for model training or improvement purposes. 7. User-Generated Content

7.1 Your Content

By posting reviews, ratings, photos, or other content ("User Content") on our platform, you:

  • Retain ownership of your content.
  • Grant STARTIVENT, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your content in connection with our Services and marketing.
  • Confirm that your content is accurate, does not violate any third party's rights, and complies with applicable laws.

7.2 Content Standards

User Content must not:

  • Contain false, misleading, defamatory, or harassing material.
  • Infringe on any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Promote illegal activities, violence, or discrimination.
  • Contain spam, advertising, or malicious content.

7.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or disable any User Content that violates this Agreement or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice. We are not obligated to monitor all User Content but may do so at our discretion.

8. User Responsibilities

When using our Services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when making a booking, creating an account, or contacting us.

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and venue policies.

  • Not use our Services for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

  • Not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, AI safeguards, or rate limits.

  • Not scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from our platform without our written consent.

  • Not impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

  • Not upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Property

All content on our websites and apps — including text, images, graphics, logos, UI design, software code, AI models, and layout — is owned by or licensed to STARTIVENT, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

9.2 Trademarks

Sports Bar AI and STARTIVENT are trademarks or trade names of STARTIVENT, LLC.

9.3 Third-Party Trademarks

Our Services may display the names, logos, badges, and other trademarks of third parties — including sports leagues, teams, tournaments, broadcasters, and event organizers. These trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify events, teams, or related content.

Unless expressly stated, Sports Bar AI is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any third-party sports organization, league, team, or broadcaster.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

Our Services integrate with or link to third-party services including:

  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • Google — Maps, Analytics, Sign-In, Ads, YouTube
  • Meta Platforms — Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp
  • Apple — Maps, Sign-In, Push Notifications
  • X (formerly Twitter) — Social sharing
  • LinkedIn — Social sharing
  • Yelp — Venue reviews and ratings
  • Cloudflare — CDN and security
  • Firebase — Push notifications and analytics

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or privacy practices of third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their own terms and policies.

11. Push Notifications

With your consent, we may send push notifications to your mobile device for:

  • Booking confirmations and reminders.
  • Live score updates and event alerts.
  • Promotional offers and new venue announcements.
  • AI-generated recommendations.

You can manage your push notification preferences through your device settings or the app notification settings at any time.

12. Disclaimers

  • We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate event information, venue details, and live scores, but we do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or timeliness.
  • AI-generated content and recommendations are provided "as is" and may contain errors.
  • We are not responsible for the quality of venue services, food, drinks, seating, facilities, or pricing.
  • We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free access to our Services.
  • All venue-related issues must be addressed directly with the venue.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to this Agreement shall not exceed the total service fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
  • Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless STARTIVENT, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your:

  • Use of our Services.
  • Violation of this Agreement.
  • Violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
  • User Content you post on our platform.

15. Changes to Services and This Agreement

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time without prior notice.

  • We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through our website, mobile apps, or email.

  • Continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

  • The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved in the courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, unless:

  • Where required by applicable U.S., UK, or EU law, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
  • Alternative dispute resolution is required by applicable consumer protection laws.

Residents of certain jurisdictions (including the UK and EU) may have access to additional dispute resolution mechanisms under their local consumer protection laws.

17. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and Bookings Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and STARTIVENT, LLC regarding your use of our Services.
